Fleeing from God

One of my favourite books in the Bible is Jonah.  One of the reasons is because I feel Jonah relates to us all.  As a profit of God Jonah hears God's voice but chooses not to listen.  How many of us hear God's voice and choose not to listen?  Some of us even do what Jonah did and flee from the spirit of God.  If you are pulling a Jonah rightnow and fleeing from the spirit of God I don't recommend waiting till He reaches out and grabs your attention.  What I challenge you to do is talk to God and someone you feel is a spiritual mentor.

Remember God will always listen to you and forgive you for your sins as long as you go to Him and confess in the name of his son Jesus.

Jonah 1:3 (ESV)

3 But Jonah rose to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord. He went down to Joppa and found a ship going to Tarshish. So he paid the fare and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish, away from thepresence of the Lord.

God bless and remember I am praying for you!
