God's wonderful anger

When you are angered by someone how do you react?

What I love about God as he is showing us his anger he also streches out his hand for us to grab and turn from our sinful ways.

Are you willing to take His hand?

Isaiah 9:17 (NKJV)

Therefore the Lord will have no joy in their young men,
Nor have mercy on their fatherless and widows;
For everyone "is" a hypocrite and an evildoer,
And every mouth speaks folly.
For all this His anger is not turned away,
But His hand "is" stretched out still.

Forgiveness is the right choice

We are called by God to be like Jesus.  You may ask your self how do i do that? Truth is I don't know, but I do know were you need start and that is forgiveness.   When we choose not to forgive we open our selves up to a lot of sin and boundage.  Jesus forgave us so much that He allowed Himself to be beaten, whipped, cursed at, and most importantly was crucified.

Ephesians 4:31-32 (NLT)

31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. 32 Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

Dec. 26, 2012 "The Mustard Seed"

Matthew 17:20 (NKJV)

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Does verse make you think, it does for me.

What does Jesus mean by "having faith as a mustard seed?"  A mustard seed just waits in the soil to grow.   It can't water it's self, plant it's self, or even harvest it's self.  Basically it just trusts that God will provide what it needs to make it grow.

So ask do you trust God to provide what is needed to make you grow?

December 25, 2012 Bible Versus

Hebrews 2:17-18 (NLT)
17 Therefore, it was necessary for him to be made in every respect like us, his brothers and sisters,so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then he could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people. 18 Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested.
